after spending her life calling texas home, leslie sisson currently resides in brooklyn, ny, working as a musician and filmmaker. she plays in the wooden birds and matt pond pa, both on guitar and vocals. her past includes time in the western keys, black lipstick, the mona jane, pavo, aero wave, and tanworth-in-arden on guitar, bass, keys, cello, flute, voice, as well as guest performances for the american analog set, windsor for the derby, and mark gardener of ride. she is in the process of putting together new original material for a solo record. she has also toured as crew for vampire weekend, and you will know us by the trail of dead, and sons and daughters. when she's not on the road, leslie makes use of a master's degree as an editor and film/video instructor at a local nyc film school. |
